Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has confirmed a mystery story for Tony Hutchinson is in the works.
Viewers have most recently seen Tony growing disillusioned with his half-brother Eric, after suspecting he may have been involved in harassing Maxine a few weeks ago.
Eric is a part of the soap’s radical misogyny storyline, though Tony doesn’t realise yet how twisted Eric has become in his hatred of women.

In upcoming scenes, Diane Hutchinson is alarmed to find a bouquet of flowers arriving for Tony along with a note arranging a meeting.
It turns out that Tony’s so-called secret admirer is newcomer Beau and he has a revelation that could have huge implications for the whole Hutchinson clan.
Tony is caught off-guard by the news, as he tries to keep it a secret. Diane remains suspicious of Tony’s secretive behaviour, leading her to her breaking point.
When the truth is eventually revealed, Diane stuns Tony with words that make him question the kind of person he’s become since winning political office on the local council.

Tony makes the effort to make peace with Beau, but it may be too late to get back on the right path. What exactly has Beau revealed about Tony and his family?
These scenes will air next week. This story introduces former Emmerdale and Coronation Street actor Jon-Paul Bell as the new regular character Beau, with the actor promising Beau will “cause a stir for various well-known characters”.
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
