Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street killer Stephen Reid struggles to cover his tracks over Leo Thompkins’s death next week.
Stephen has spent the past few weeks desperately trying to cover his tracks after his big showdown with Leo on the factory gantry ended in tragedy.
Leo’s loved ones currently believe that he moved away to Canada to start a new life. However, upcoming episodes see Leo’s dad Teddy become suspicious after not hearing from him for weeks.
Next week, Teddy and Jenny Connor arrange a meeting at the Bistro to discuss the troubling situation.

Stephen secretly intervenes by taking a photo of Teddy and Jenny when he sees them together on the street.
Stephen then sends the photo to Teddy from Leo’s phone. Writing as Leo, Stephen makes out that a friend saw them together and thought he might be interested.
Wanting Teddy to stop digging, Stephen writes: “Don’t contact me again.”
Stephen hopes this will be the end of it, but Teddy won’t let go of his concerns so easily.

Teddy vows to travel to Canada and speak to Leo in person to get some answers.
Clearly horrified by this, what will Stephen do next?
Todd Boyce, who plays Stephen, recently spoke about becoming Corrie‘s newest villain.
He told Digital Spy and other media: “I’m so in awe of Connor McIntyre, who played Pat Phelan, and Brian Capron, who was Richard Hillman. I’m just so honoured that [Coronation Street producer] Iain MacLeod phoned me out of the blue and said: ‘Hey, do you want to come in?’
“I’m 61 and it’s great that someone believes in me enough to say: ‘You can do that’. So I’m beside myself. I’m really excited about it.
“It was in December last year that they asked about my availability, then Iain got me on Zoom at the beginning of February and suddenly told me everything, with his amazing mind. In half an hour, I didn’t say much. He just unleashed this outline and I was made aware that I was going to be a murderer.
“It was really exciting. Earlier he said, ‘You know, we can take Stephen anywhere because he’s quite a blank canvas’. I was like, ‘Oh my God’. I then had about three months to think about it before I started in May.”
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
